The Tulsa Rock, Gem & Jewelry Show Is Coming This July - Here's Why You Shouldn't Miss It
Every summer, the city of Tulsa becomes a destination for gem lovers, jewelry enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone who has ever been stopped in their tracks by the quiet fire of a well-cut stone. The annual Tulsa Rock, Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show returns this July 10-12, 2026, and if you have never attended, this is your year to go.
Held at the Exchange Center at Expo Square (4145 E. 21st St., Tulsa, Oklahoma), the show is one of the most beloved regional gem and mineral events in the country. Organized by the Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society, the event brings together vendors from across Oklahoma and the entire United States, offering everything from raw specimens and loose gemstones to finished jewelry and mineral art - all under one roof.
What to Expect at the Show
The show floor is a carefully curated mix of the natural and the crafted. You will find vendors displaying continental sand collections, exquisite gemstone jewelry, unique mineral art, fossils, beads, and crystals. Many vendor spaces also feature working exhibits, giving visitors a rare opportunity to see the craft in action.
One of the most popular features is the fluorescent room, where minerals that appear ordinary under normal light suddenly blaze with electric color under UV. There is also a hands-on touch table, particularly beloved by younger visitors, that makes geology tangible and memorable. A dedicated kids' zone ensures the whole family leaves inspired.
Scouts in uniform get in free, and First Responders receive complimentary admission with ID. General admission is $7 for adults, with a two-day pass available for $10. Children 12 and under enter free with a paid adult.
Why This Show Matters for Jewelry Lovers
Events like the Tulsa Show are where gemstone stories begin. The stones that end up set in the most cherished engagement rings and wedding bands often trace their origins to a moment just like this - when someone picked up a stone, felt something, and decided it was the one.
If you are shopping for a custom engagement ring and want to understand what makes a gemstone special - its cut, color, clarity, and character - walking a gem show is one of the most educational experiences you can have. You will develop an eye for quality that no online comparison chart can give you.
For those who discover a stone they love and want to see it set into something beautifully personal, our custom ring design process at Rings By Irina is built exactly for that journey. Explore our full range of custom styles:
